Hollis and Jacki Thoms

Hollis Thoms - Composer and Educator

Hollis Thoms has recently completed an opera entitled "The Moustache" for four singers and chamber ensemble based on a fictional, yet historically probable meeting, between Cipriano Ferrandini and John Wilkes Booth on March 24, 1865, interweaving eleven Stephen Foster songs into the musical texture. The 90-minute opera is scheduled for its premiere during the Lincoln bicentennial in 2009.

Jonas Thoms - Horn

Jason is the Assistant Professor of Music, Director of Choral Activities, and Music Program Chair at Concordia College - NY, Bronxville, New York. He had his Carnegie Hall debut as soloist in Faure Requiem in April. Listen to some samples by clicking on the text to the right.

Treva is an adjunct professor at Concordia College and teaches voice at the Concordia Conservatory, Bronxville, New York.
She is also a staff singer at Christ Church in Bronxville, New York.

Sonja is the Operations Manager for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Jonas is the Graduate Assistant to Randy Gardner for the horn studio at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. He is a member of the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and a freelance musician in the Ohio/Kentucky region.
